The bottle opener is meticulously hand crafted. A bronze alloy consisting of carefully controlled amounts of copper, tin and zinc is cast from a negative mould. This attentive choice of material allows for a product that is significantly stronger than other materials and has a number of useful properties, including stiffness and ductility. 

The bottom handle part is then masked off while the top half of the piece is blasted with microscopic silica beads, creating a durable satin finish. The inverse is then masked off and hand polished to a pristine mirror like finish.
